LINGAM EGG

We used the ostrich or goose egg to convey the message of the contents of our cultural heritage.
The Lingam egg is uniquely decorated. The eggshell is perforated using a drill, which allows for a special way of decorating blown eggs.
The Lingam egg incorporates the situla culture, featuring the ceremonial Venetian horse below the image of an eagle and the culture of Idrija lace with innovative energetic shapes and artistic elements of the Idrija lynx.
With additional lighting, the elaborate lacelike designs on the eggshells come to life in their entirety.
"Using the horse of peace or the spiritual horse taken from the renowned Situla from Vače, I reawaken the prehistoric culture of Slovenians – the culture of Veneti. Within it, I have illustrated the spirituality of mankind."
This sculpture is set at various locations, including the World Trade Centre in Ljubljana, the Mestni trg Square in Slovenj Gradec, the United Nations Palace in Geneva, the Nebug complex in Sochi by the Black Sea and the former Parliament in Jerusalem.
Besides the horse, the eagle GARUDA also appears on the Lingam egg as the symbol of spirituality, representing the divine creation of human development from the animal to the divine spirit and its cosmic breadth ...
