GREEN HEART JUG
(ø = 6 cm, h = 12 cm, 200 ml, glass)Many elements of the Slovenian cultural heritage that testify about the ancient roots of the Slovene Veneti have been preserved to the present day. Their traces can be tracked as far back as the prehistoric era – such is the case in the Municipality of Žalec. The BEER jug is designed according to the energetically concealed vibrations of shapes and numerology, imbuing its contents with HEALING properties. By transcending the ordinary design knowledge, the jug can be classified as a piece of ENERGY or DEVIN DESIGN.
The handle is designed in such a way that when drinking in pairs, two handles symbolically form a HEART shape – THE GOLDEN HEART OF THE GREEN ŽALEC VALLEY. As Sai Baba says, "ALL WORK SHOULD BEGIN WITH THE HEART."
In 1996, the OSKAR KOGOJ NATURE DESIGN gallery was established at Risto Savin’s birth house in Žalec. The Municipality of Žalec is re-opening the permanent Oskar Kogoj Nature Design collection, featuring the newly-made beer jug. The author designed the jar for the first beer fountain in the world, which was opened in Žalec on 6th September 2016 and donated his design to the Municipality of Žalec for the benefit of mankind.
At the initiative of the mayor Mr. Janka Kos and Mr. Matjaža Juterška from the Institute for Culture, Sport and Tourism continues the tradition of the golden green valley of Žalec.
