HERON OF INNER PEACE AND STRENGTH
Symbol of intelligence, perseverance, determination, inner strength, calmness, elegance, courage ...Sculpture (on a wooden base – 27,5 cm x 17 cm x 14 cm, porcelain, gilding (18K gold).Herons appear every year at a ford over the Vipava
River, in our courtyard next to the Oskar Kogoj Nature Design studio. The heron
is the earth’s bird of sensitivity, beauty and kindness; it is a spiritual bird
that reminds us of the spirituality that lies within humans, unravels it and
gives impetus to the development of our spirit. Humanity will enter a golden
age when it realises that man is God. So said Sai Baba: "You are God, I am God,
I am aware of it, but you are not yet!”
In Slovenian, heron is called ‘čaplja’, a word
denoting ‘one who walks in the water’, since a heron treads carefully and
slowly so as not to harm anyone. When it takes flight and spreads its wings, it
becomes part of human mysticism and God’s creation, and invites us to self-realisation,
i.e. to discover that we are divine beings.
Herons are found everywhere around the world and many
cultures have symbolism associated with them, which varies from one culture to
another. While different, in all places the symbolic meanings are positive and
derive from the heron’s characteristics: grace and elegance, strength and
perseverance, wisdom and intelligence, gentleness and kindness, calmness and
stability, patience and resolve, down-to-earthness and balance.
Its sheer magnificence, gentleness and intelligence
are consciousness-opening. It never runs out of courage, relying solely on its
own abilities, following its path, its intuition..., always reaching its goal
with determination and confidence, and always winning. It is driven by its
inner strength. The heron stands out for its uniqueness, ingenuity and special
character. Let it inspire us to achieve our goals.
The heron brings the message that we do not need to
look outside ourselves for happiness, health, love, prosperity, joy; we can
find it all within our heart, our depth, our soul.
The letter S is encoded as a symbol of world cultures
– including the proto-Slovenian ones, in the oldest civilisations in
prehistory, preserved to this day (ISA, SAI). The heron also creates an S when
bending its thin, long neck in flight.
May the image of the heron also introduce you to
meditation and prayer for the sanctity that is needed today. Connect with its
energy and call upon its qualities.

THE ENERGY OF GOLDEN REFLECTION
The meaning of gold colour
The colour gold symbolises abundance, wealth, prestige, prosperity and luxury. It is the colour of success, achievements, triumph and optimism. It is associated with quality, prestige, sophistication and elegance. Gold attracts the eye and represents inspiration and the activation of spiritual energy. It can improve mental and physical health, while also lighting the way to future goals and bringing success, since it is associated with the energy of the sun and, in turn, with life energy, strength and self-confidence. It helps to achieve spiritual enlightenment and to gain knowledge and a deeper understanding of one’s own self and soul. It celebrates successes and motivates people to reach their potential. Gold is optimistic and positive, and adds richness and warmth to everything it is associated with, thus illuminating and enhancing other things around it as well. The colour gold increases passion and charisma, as well as compassion and understanding.
Gold is a sacred colour in both religious and magical contexts. It represents divine qualities, which is why many of the objects used in sacred rituals are made of gold or gold-coloured. It is associated with pre-eminence, has a frequency of higher protection, and signifies total integration and spiritual service.
Why plate items in gold? Because humans also have a little gold in their bodies. What connects the individual human to their soul in the physical sense is gold. This connection is ‘golden’. Unless one ‘gilds’ oneself spiritually, one cannot come closer to God, to knowing oneself, to a deeper realisation that one is a spiritual being. A spiritual being can only develop in a physical body.
