POGAČNIK CHAIR

(41 cm x 82 cm x 38 cm, walnut wood)

Before his death, my professor Marjan Pogačnik gave me an original, over hundred years old chair, in which he drew his famous graphics throughout all of his life. As he gave it to me, he said, "It served a lifetime to a shoemaker, now an ARTIST. I wish it to serve you…" Then he laughed...
I dedicate the chair to Bogomila and Marjan Pogačnik (1920–2005).
The love radiating from their hearts was entirely maternal!
I pass this redesigned chair forward ...
