The Lagoon table clock reminds the artist of Sistiana, a coastal village where the Karst stone is shaped by the sea waves. Similar shapes are moulded by the tide within the sands of the Venice Bay. Gorgeous sand figures are created by the wind, and marvellous lagoons are designed the same way by the swinging sea waves. Natural, simple forms are bound up into one whole, just as a mother with her baby or a family... Just as they make bows in reverence to one other, being the one greater than the other, the tiny clock is here to balance our body, accompanying and involving us in our inner life. The clock is not just a timepiece, but it is the circle of life stimulating us in our relationship to nature.
