The Lipizzaner is a spiritual, ballet horse, and is also distinguished by the strength that this "horse of the Slovenians" possesses. Our ancestors developed it by crossbreeding a native Karst mare with noble Arabian and Spanish stallions. The Lipizzaner horse is associated with the evolution of man – from animal nature to divine knowledge; from black to divine white. The Lipizzaner is born black and later becomes white. Such a transformation represents the transformation of the human, animal nature into the divine knowledge of cosmic human values.
The Dove of peace symbolises God's bird of peace. It is a symbol of love, peace and divinity. May human breadth, inner peace and love be awakened in people! The white dove has always represented the transformation of human action, the good, the beautiful, the pure.
The Venetic Horse is the horse of peace, taken from the stylised depiction on the Vače situla. This horse is one of the most distinctive images from the earlier Iron Age (Hallstatt). A few centuries after the horse were depicted on situlae, Greek and Roman writers also state that the Veneti were the best at breeding horses. Horses are depicted everywhere, but not in a realistic manner, which was the case in Greek and Roman art, but in a stylised form. Stylised depictions of horses show what nature cannot, namely the horse’s spiritual nature.
The Carniolan honey bee, the famous Apis mellifera carnica, is connected to cosmic energy, to the energies of the world and the universe, to our gravity and to the movement of the universe. It is one of the oldest known bees in the world, around 12,000 years old, and well known as a healthy, hard-working, resilient bee. Slovenians are often identified with it or its characteristics. May health, diligence and endurance be your qualities too.
A Star is a natural form from the sea and the cosmos. It represents the union and harmony of all worlds: sea, earth and cosmos. The five-pointed star also represents the five elements of human life on Earth: the search for truth, right action, love for all living beings, peace and non-violence. Our star unites with its ten arms (5 outer + 5 inner) the outer and inner seas of the world and, with its unique shape, the third eye, which signifies man's knowledge of the divine nature.
The Bird of paradise, as found many years ago by archaeologists in the Church of St George in Piran in the shape of a fibula, is a reminder of paradise, and man is also an image of paradise. This bird lives in us, in our body, and if we nurture it with all goodness and beauty, it will surely come to life...
The Seahorse lives at the bottom of the cleanest parts of the Slovenian and world seas. It has long been considered the pearl of the Slovenian sea, and therefore the artist adorned it with a crown. The sea is of great significance to our country. Whoever is linked to the sea, is linked to the world... The seahorse is a symbol of development, power, seeking the truth and love. We should, therefore, be happy this is a Slovenian and Mediterranean symbol.
The Horseshoe is a symbol of fortune and of the connection between heaven, earth and fire in the sacred sense of the cosmic energies of creation. The horseshoe must be pointing downwards if the energy of 'prana' is to be held and absorbed. This is the mystery of the shape, which originates in peasant and blacksmith tradition.
The Owl is a symbol of wisdom and knowledge. The owl is also a symbol of the night. It connects the energy and power of the unconscious, the spiritual energy of man, the moon, the power of water and plant energy, which is in every human being as a latent source of immortality and as a spark of divine fire.
And over all these symbols the Pure Heart reigns. Symbolically, it consists of two lingams, or the image of two oval shapes. Everything originates in the egg and returns to it. It is the balance between humans and God. The entirety consists of the earthly and divine parts. The cosmic egg is the real shape of the universe, cosmic time and the unity of cosmic creation. The heart is the divine and the human embodied. The heart symbolically represents 5 human bodies or layers: the physical body, the energetic body, the mental body, the intellectual body, the divine body or GOD. Another five elements represent the 5 values that each person should strive for. These are: truth, right action, love, peace, non-violence. The heart reflects the divinity of being aware of oneself.
